About Dr. Diah
Dr. Tej Diah is a highly accomplished cosmetic and restorative dentist known for his commitment to clinical excellence, advanced training, and comprehensive patient care. With a strong background in science, research, and advanced dental education, he is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, natural-looking smiles through precision dentistry and personalized treatment planning.
Dr. Diah began his academic career at Florida State University, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Physiology in 2006. He continued his studies at Florida State University’s nationally recognized Graduate Skeletal Muscle Laboratory, where he authored six scientific publications and earned a Master of Science in Human Physiology in 2009. During this time, he also taught college-level physiology courses across Florida and was selected by Kaplan, Inc. to teach MCAT and DAT preparation courses to students pursuing careers in medicine and dentistry.
After relocating to Miami, he further advanced his education by earning a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University in 2012. Dr. Diah was then awarded the prestigious Navy Healthcare Professions Scholarship before being accepted to six dental schools.
He chose to attend Roseman University College of Dental Medicine in Utah, where he graduated summa cum laude with his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2017.
Following dental school, Dr. Diah proudly served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. After completing his credentialing tour at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, he spent two years serving more than 1,200 Marines and Sailors as Dental Department Head and Medical Triage Officer aboard the USS San Antonio. During this time, he also led his unit’s COVID response task force while deployed at sea. Prior to completing his service, Dr. Diah practiced in a large multi-specialty military clinic in Virginia Beach, providing care for elite special operations personnel, including Navy SEALs.
Dr. Diah has pursued extensive post-doctoral training in cosmetic, implant, and sedation dentistry. He is licensed to provide IV sedation, oral sedation, and nitrous oxide, allowing patients to experience comfortable, stress-free dental care.
He provides a wide range of advanced treatments including dental implant placement, full mouth rehabilitation, and comprehensive smile design, helping patients restore both function and aesthetics. Dr. Diah is also highly trained in the diagnosis and treatment of TMJ disorders and obstructive sleep apnea, and offers treatment with the FDA-approved Vivos appliance, a non-surgical solution designed to improve airway health and sleep quality.
For patients with complex dental concerns, Dr. Diah develops comprehensive treatment plans for full mouth reconstruction cases, collaborating closely with board-certified specialists to ensure exceptional outcomes. His approach focuses on restoring proper function, balance, and long-term oral health while creating smiles that look natural, healthy, and harmonious.
His commitment to continuing education has earned him fellowships with the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
Today, Dr. Diah proudly serves patients in The Woodlands, Texas, where he combines advanced technology, precision dentistry, and personalized care to deliver world-class results. He and his wife—whom he met during dental school—are proud parents of two children and are grateful to call The Woodlands home.
