Before porcelain treatment, Julia had generalized gum recession which caused cold sensitivity. This type of gum recession is associated with bone loss and is why she had a small black triangle between her two front teeth. With 20 porcelain veneers (10 on top and 10 on bottom) she now has a beautiful smile that has covered her previously exposed root surfaces and closed any food traps she had before. She now wears a bite guard at night to prevent any further recession.
